Tecto Data Centers Showcases AI-Ready Infrastructure and Strengthens Presence at PTC 2026

Company highlights its current data center footprint, ongoing projects in São Paulo and Porto Alegre, and expansion into new Brazilian cities

Tecto Data Centers, one of the fastest-growing digital infrastructure companies in Latin America, will participate in another edition of the Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC), the leading global gathering of connectivity, cloud, submarine cable, and data center leaders, held annually in Hawaii. Tecto’s presence reinforces its role in the data center industry and consolidates the company as one of the region’s most influential players in delivering strategic infrastructure for big techs, hyperscalers, content providers, and cloud companies.

During the event, Tecto will present its current data center portfolio, ongoing projects, and expansion roadmap, highlighting its strategy to scale AI-ready infrastructure across multiple regions in Brazil. The company will showcase three of its flagship projects: the recently launched Mega Lobster TFOR3 in Fortaleza (CE), the TGRU1 hyperscale data center currently under construction in Santana de Parnaíba (SP), and TPOA1, which will undergo a retrofit project in Porto Alegre (RS).

Mega Lobster TFOR3, located in one of the most strategic international connectivity hubs in the Southern Hemisphere, is directly connected to submarine cables linking Brazil to the United States, Europe, and Africa. The facility delivers low latency, high resilience, and robust capacity for intensive AI and cloud computing workloads within a 20 MW operation.

The TGRU1 hyperscale data center in Santana de Parnaíba will have a total capacity of 200 MW and was designed from the outset to support massive GPU clusters and generative AI applications, enabling ultra-high compute density operations. Meanwhile, the TPOA1 project in Porto Alegre will have a total capacity of 20 MW and will be connected to the Malbec submarine cable through a branch unit currently under construction by V.tal in partnership with Meta, positioning the city as a new strategic connectivity hub in southern Brazil.

In addition to these facilities, Tecto will also highlight new projects planned for Rio de Janeiro, Belém, Recife, and Brasília, reinforcing its strategy to build a distributed and resilient national data center platform. This approach combines sites designed to meet diverse demands for high computational capacity, low latency, and scalability, supported by the company’s solid financial structure and access to large-scale energy resources through its shareholders, funds managed by BTG.
